My ID is Irene from Edgeline Planner (Tel: 6899-2522). She is a fantastic designer (many who deals with her in RenoForum will confirmed this) and one of the best i have encounter in our search for a ID company for our renovation in the past 6mths....and we have seen and got many many quotes from almost all well know ID firms mentioned here in this forum.
She is very professional, hard working, easy to get along, and always come up with so many solution for you to choose. She will be very honest and if cannot be done will say cannot...unlike others who will say yes to everything you requests.
Not many ID can come up with design drawing & solution on the spot like Irene. Highly recommended her to you or any one who wants a professional ID & great renovation.
Just look at the showroom, pictures of projects done on the LCD TV & other projects done by this company and you can see that they design, workmanship are top notch and if you are still not convince just see their profiling (i.e their carpentry work on the edge of cabinets which are not normal sharp corners but with design shape & easy of used)
We choose this company (Edgeline Planner) because we want our place to be very special with great workmanship using great material so that it will last a long long time. We almost sign several others cheaper ID firms but found that most are lacking in design sense and the workmanship is average to not so great. Also other ID company may not be very honest when come to committing & writing on black & white paper. Hence our delay starting reno since last year.
Sure, it may not be the cheapest, but rest assure your money will be very spent in that they will deliver a great renovation with great design, workmanship & material used. One thing we like is we can be sure of the design drawings and detail design with speccification/dmension, work schedules charts and the best for us is less worry on our mind (unlike others IDs). They have to because it's a ISO company.
My other advice is try to get as many quotation as you can and try to compare apple to apple...taking consideration of design, materials used, workmanship, comfort with the ID and time save/management for you.
Thanks for reading and sorry for a bit long winded but i just get so excited that our reno is starting & looking fantastic so far.
P.S: If your budget meets then paid a little bit more for quality assurance.
P.S.S: There is no such thing as freebie in this industry as most are already factor in in other area (e.g package promotion, higher cost items, hidden costs, etc...). Please check everything promised verbally written in the contract and no other hidden costs.
GOD BLESS & GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR RENOVATION.
